Corrosion InhibitorsThere are a number of products used to control corrosion on part and in water systems.
How do I prevent my system and parts from corrosion?
The best product to use is a 50% concentrate of Benzotriazole. This product can be applied directly to the coppper parts to prevent copper corrosion. For brine treatment systems, such as ice rinks, ChemWorld 906 is the product selection. This product is an all in one blend to control corrosion with a brine system. If you are just wanting to minimize corrosion on a water system or brine system that contains Tolytiazole may be added to control corrosion.
