Types of Boiler Amines

You have two groups of amines.
  1. Neutralizing Amines - Formulated to increase the steam condensate pH. The most common neutralizing amines are Morpholine, DEAE, and Cyclohexylamine. Our most popular amine is a tri-blend mixture of all three components called ChemWorld 1888. These products may be injected directly into the header with a retractable injection quill or into the center of the feed water or storage section of the DA tank with a chemical injection quill. For straight or other mixture ratios, please email us at [email protected].
  2. Filming Amines - Our filming amine is FDA approved, Non-amine, condensate treatment product. ChemWorld 9010 is a non-amine, filming corrosion inhibitor specifically designed to protect boiler condensate systems from attack by oxygen and carbonic acid. ChemWorld 9010 forms a protective film on exposed metal surfaces that serves as a barrier between the metal and the corrosive species. ChemWorld 9010 is normally used in combination with other treatment chemicals to provide a complete program. Filming amines must be feed directly into the header with a retractable injection quill.
