What are Cooling Water Biocides?
Basically, cooling water biocides are used to kill bacteria and to control bacteria development.

What types of Cooling Water Biocides are there?
There are two main Cooling Water Biocides oxidizers and non-oxidizers.

Oxidizers - Typically, 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite or a Stablized Bromine Chlorine product.
Non-Oxidizers - Common ones include Gluteraldahyde and Isothiazolin.

What types of Cooling Water Biocides are there?
Oxidizers are feed on a continuous basis while non-oxidizers are fed intermediately or on an as needed basis.

Can I order Biocides myself?
Yes, ChemWorld sells to everyone. No order to small.

Where do I feed the biocide at?
Feed the chemical directly into the main header of the water with a kynar corporation valve or into a side stream loop with an kynar injection quill.
