Iron Phosphates Detergent
Steam, Pressure Spray, and Immersion Detergent Iron Phosphate or Aluminum and Ferrous Metals. Concentrated steam and high temperature spray wand cleaner and iron phosphate. Aluminium activated. ChemWorld STM Xtrem is:
- A blend of buffered phosphates, water conditioners, and non-heavy metal coating accelerators in combination with a high level of controlled foaming detergents in a convenient liquid form.
- pH balanced so that little or no pH adjustment is required.
- Designed for use in industrial immersion, non-recirculating spray, steam phosphatizing systems, or by hand wipe.
- Produces an iridescent blue coating on ferrous components which provides improved paint adhesion and corrosion resistance for the finish.
- Produces a light coating and etch on aluminum, zinc, and galvanized surfaces.
- ChemWorld STM Xtrem meets or exceeds TTC-490D, Type II military specification by providing an iron phosphate coating in the range of 35 to 80 mgs/ft2.
USE INFORMATION:
- Concentration: Immersion: 1 to 4% by volume.
- Steam / Pressure Spray: 0.5 - 2% by volume.
- Hand Wipe: 2% by volume.
- Temperature: 125 - 212°F (Recirculating spray); Ambient to 212°F (Hand wipe, Pressure spray, Immersion)
- Target Operating pH: 4.4 - 4.9
- Contact Time: As available.
For best results, ChemWorld STM Xtrem should be followed by a water rinse, but the ChemWorld STM Xtrem was specifically formulated to accept paint without being rinsed.
