I bought these strips to test the pH of my homemade soap. After wetting the test strip I compared it to the standards on the box. My results matched 3 of the 4 colors shown. I contacted customer service about this. They got back to me very fast by email. He said ideal was to match all 4 colors, but if 3/4 match I was good to go. It looks like these strips will work for me as I need to check for very high pH levels because of the lye used in soap. I am happy with the product and customer service.
